TBB Voices Strong Support for USL Players Association’s Minimum Standards for Compensation

SACRAMENTO, CA – November 25, 2025 – TBB today announced its official support for the athletes of Sacramento Republic FC and the initiatives of the USL Players Association (USLPA).

The organization affirms its belief that all professional athletes deserve a foundational level of fair and equitable compensation. This includes endorsing the USLPA's efforts to establish league-wide minimum standards, specifically a guaranteed minimum salary and comprehensive health insurance coverage for every player.

While TBB is confident that its own Sacramento Republic FC players are appropriately compensated, the organization recognizes that this is not a universal reality across the league. TBB stands in solidarity with the USLPA's mission to implement these essential standards as the United Soccer League continues its significant growth and expansion into the future.

TBB views the establishment of these basic compensation and health standards as a critical step toward ensuring the long-term professionalization and sustainability of the league.
